Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Shannon and I am a mother of two children and 3 little dogs. I keep busy by homeschooling my kids and helping my husband with his internet marketing business. The kids and the husband (who is wonderful I might add), plus the animals, and the homeschooling, and the working at home can add up to some big messes. If I don’t keep things organized the whole house will collapse under a pile of papers…and dog toys.

On top of all the above we also move around a lot. As we move from state to state with my husband’s other job (he also works for the Man) I have to move all of our junk…I mean prized possessions, every year or so. Keeping organized is a must for me. I have learned a lot over the years with all the moving and homeschooling and working from home. I hope to share my wisdom with you. I have had to learn to let go of things I don’t need, and find homes frequently for the things I do. I’ve had to dig deep and deal with the emotional reasons I buy things and try to change those negative patterns. It’s been quite a learning process!

Being an artistic, free-spirited person I originally had a hard time with organizing things. It helped when I could find (or make) beautiful things to help keep me organized. In this blog I hope to share some of the ideas I’ve come up with or found along the way to make organizing more enjoyable for anyone who needs it. You can also find more ideas in my book Border Hoarder which you can get from Amazon.com.

Thanks for visiting my site! I look forward to any comments and ideas you’d like to share with me.
